The judges are very professional, each of the critique sheets have highlighted my strength and weakness.
These are important to me as an artist, as I am now able to indentify which areas to improve to produce better results.
The break down on the critique sheets, such as the head and face, limbs and body vividly highlights the finest detail of your work, hence it is easy to understand. With the encouragement given by judges, I am even more motivated and determined to strive to be one of the top master bear crafters.

I have found the critique sheets a great way to get feedback that is honest and directly to the point.

Hi Sandi,
Coming from the UK, I was unfamiliar with the concept of critique sheets to judge competition pieces. On receiving them, I was amazed at the range of specific details which the judges scrutinise. I think it can be difficult to objectively appraise your own creative efforts, and so I would urge anybody to "step up to the plate" and submit their entries to the hands-on judging.
It is a fascinating and positive experience which can only spur you on to higher achievement!
